Meeting with the Princely Family of Sealand

On the afternoon of 22 November 2025, Archduke Arthur of Duckionary and Countess Katrin of Aranthia met a superstar well-known to everyone in the micronational community and beyond during a friendly match between the Sealand Seahawks and two professional Czech teams (including one from the second division of American football) in Brno, Czechia.
It was none other than Prince Michael of Sealand, who had come to Brno with his wife, Princess Mei, and his younger son, Prince Liam, to support the Sealand American football team.
During the game, a unique meeting took place between the Sealand Royals and the Archduke of Duckionary. They discussed Sealand and the Free Cities movement, and Archduke Arthur presented the distinguished family with small gifts and the Medal of Friendship. It was a truly successful meeting with the friendly Bates family in Brno!
Duckionary has once again made history, as Sealand does not usually maintain contact with other micronations. Sealand serves as a model for both the seasteading and micronational communities. Under Prince Michael's reign, Sealand has achieved new milestones in state development in recent years. Notable achievements include the e-citizenship program and the collaboration with an internationally renowned Dutch architectural firm on the planning for an expansion of Sealand. We look forward to future encounters and hope to visit Sealand in person one day.
