By parliamentary resolution of 29 December 2022, the new Duckionary currency was introduced as book money on 1 January 2023 and as physical currency on 1 July 2023.

On 1 January 2023, the Central Bank of Duckionary, which is subject to the Ministry of Finance, was founded.

1 Duckat = 100 Kof

100 Duckats = 10,000 Kof

The basic unit of currency in Duckionary is the Duckat (plural: Duckats), which is divided into 100 Kof (plural: Kof). 

The value of the Duckat is linked to the czech drink Kofola, whereby 2 Duckats have the same value as one litre of Kofola.

The currency design was commissioned from Indonesian designer Dias Han by the General Directorate of the Central Bank in March 2023. In May 2023, over 500 banknotes were printed for the first time on paper weighing 135 grams per square meter.

On 15 July 2023, the printed banknotes were presented at the Micro Euro Summit in Chyše, Czech Republic.

 

In September 2023, two new banknotes with denominations of 100 and 200 duckats were commissioned, as well as revisions of the first five bills, which are expected to appear in 2024.
