Duckionary is currently seeking sports clubs willing to declare themselves the “National Team of Duckionary.” In addition to their regular competitions, Duckionary offers these clubs the opportunity to participate in international tournaments against national teams of independent states, autonomous regions, and micronations. Examples include Tuvalu, Turkish Northern Cyprus, Iraqi Kurdistan, the Isle of Man, Sardinia, the Swiss canton of Ticino, Cornwall, Hawaii, and the Brazilian state of São Paulo.

Participation in such tournaments provides clubs with significant benefits: international visibility, better sponsorship opportunities, and valuable experience for players at an international level. The concept works as follows: teams become the “National Team of Duckionary.” Duckionary is a project founded in 2018, established on the territory of the former Yugoslav enclave Pocket 1, creating the city-state of Panagua as a micronation. Its full name is the “Parliamentary Monarchy of Duckionary.”

As the National Team of Duckionary, a membership application will be submitted to CONIFA (Confederation of Independent Football Associations), the global football association for national teams of states, autonomous regions, ethnic minorities, and micronations that are not yet FIFA members.

A practical example: The micronation of Sealand has cooperated since 2003 with the Danish club Vestbjerg Vintage Idrætsforening. As Sealand’s national team, the players competed against Alderney, the Åland Islands, and the Republic of Somaliland—proving that this model can work successfully.

In addition to football, Duckionary is also seeking teams in American football, handball, basketball, and other sports, providing talented players with a platform for international competition.
