Nikolausabkommen über Gründung der Duckonian Union unterzeichnet

Am 06. Dezember 2023 unterzeichneten Arthur de Tourneau von Duckionary und Jan-Olav Spiekermann, dem Mitbegründer von Ethos Island, die innerhalb der nächsten Jahren einen Stadtstaat auf dem Meer (Seastead) in internationalen Gewässern errichten wollen, einen Vertrag über die Gründung der Duckonian Union mit 01. Januar 2024.

Die Duckonian Union ist keine intermikronationale Organisation, sondern ein Staatenbund, der mehr auf das Konzept einer Konföderation ausgelegt ist.

Auszug aus dem Gründungsvertrag, der informell als Nikolausabkommen bezeichnet wird, da die Parteien am 06. Dezember 2023 den Vertrag offiziell unterschrieben haben.

 "Union

1. Both nations hereby establish a union with HRH Arthur I as ceremonial Head.

2. The name of the federation is: Duckonian Union.

3. Both nations keep their full sovereignity.

4. The title of HRH Arthur I is: Ceremonial Head of the Duckonian Union.

           The title of HE Jan-Olav Spiekermann is: Senator of the Duckonian Union.

5.  Other nations can join the union at any time after negotiation talks.

Union Citizenship

1. Citizens of Both nations are granted the rights of a Union Citizenship of this Union. This includes visa facilitations, consular support and the eligibility for its citizens to public service of the other nation.

Foreign Politics

1. The parties do hereby agree to coordinate their foreign politics and to help each other to expand their foreign relations and diplomatic recognition.

Sports

1. The parties agree on the possibility of fielding joint sports teams at sporting events.

Floating City

1. The parties agree to make joint efforts to establish a seastead that can be used by both, with the detailed modalities to be regulated in a separate agreement.

Panagua

1. The two parties are endeavouring to establish the Terra Nullius ’’Panagua’’ on the Danube, which has been claimed by Duckionary since 2021, as a sovereign and functioning city-state in the coming decades.

Academic Cooperation

1. The parties agree to make joint efforts to establish and jointly operate educational institutions such as a naval academy and a university in the long term, possibly including other cooperation partners."
